What we store on your device
Late Night Bites runs in your browser. We use your browser's local storage to remember:
- Snacks you save to your favorites list.
- Your consent choices (so we don't ask again on every visit).
- Optional: your last-picked craving and dietary filters, if you enable the "Preferences" category.
This data never leaves your device unless a future feature (such as accounts) is added and you opt in. You can clear it anytime by clearing site data in your browser.
What we don't do
- No user accounts or profiles today.
- No third-party advertising trackers.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No third-party analytics scripts are loaded today.
Snack generation
When you press "feed me", the ingredients and preferences you type are sent to an AI model via our backend to generate a recipe. This request is processed to give you a response and is not used to build a profile of you. Please avoid entering personal information in the ingredients box.
Where any backend data lives
The backend for Late Night Bites (Lovable Cloud) is hosted in the European Union. Today the app does not persist your ingredients or generated recipes on the server — favorites stay in your browser only.
Your choices
You can review or change your consent at any time:
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Since this app currently stores your data only in your own browser, you can exercise those rights directly by clearing your browser's site data for Late Night Bites.
